Planning and Zoning
The
City of Griffin
Department of Development Service regulates construction and
provides municipal planning and zoning of property.
The Spalding
County Planning Commission regulates development and provides
planning and zoning assistance in the unincorporated area of the
county.
Additional development functions in the five-county area are
provided by the staff of the McIntosh Trail Regional Development
Center in Griffin. Their primary mission is to offer community and
regional planning, economic development, mapping services as well as other
services upon request to local county and municipal governments.
